Proclear

Proclear contact lenses are comfortable and they can help improve your eye refraction significantly. Proclear is one of the major brands of contact lens manufacturers in the United States. Disposable lenses are made to be thrown away after only wearing them a week or two. They are not meant to be taken out and cleaned like regular extended-wear lenses. They will get dirty and can cause infections, however. Many people try to save money by cleaning disposable Proclear contact lenses and reusing them. This is not a smart idea, as disposable contact lenses aren’t made to be cleaned and disinfecting them. This could do more harm than good to your eyes and your contact lenses.

Proclear Contacts

Proclear contact lenses are one of the country’s biggest contact lenses companies. You might think that disposable contacts are more expensive than nondisposable lenses, because of the nature of disposable contacts and that you’ll need more of them. But if you have to change your lenses every year or so anyway, you can consider that the price difference really ends up being not all that great.

Some people are still using the gas-permeable lenses, which give some of the benefits of having hard and soft lenses. These lenses are rigid and durable, and they aren’t as likely to collect deposits on them. But at the same time, they are made of material that allows more oxygen to pass through to the cornea. They may not be as comfortable as true soft lenses, but they are much more comfortable than hard contact lenses and easier to get used to. As technology changed for contact lenses, gas-permeable contacts aren’t worn as much any more.

Proclear Toric

You need to be cautious about wearing your Proclear contact lenses for extended periods of time. Giant papillary conjunctivitis is an allergic reaction to the materials your contact lenses collect and is irritative to your eyes. This condition is most commonly found in people wearing soft or extended-wear contact lenses. This develops because the material used in those types of lenses tends to attract protein and other deposits more easily than other types of contact lenses. Symptoms of this condition are blurred vision, mucus discharge, redness, excessive lens movement, and little bumps on the inside of your upper eyelids. Opticrom can help you relieve some of these symptoms. Opticrom is an anti-allergy eye drop. This is a condition in which your mast cells that contain histamine and other allergic mediators are stimulated by the constant rubbing of the contact lens on your eyelids.
